Everything on this site and in our weekly email is general information about products we've seen advertised by Australian retailers. It is not personal, financial, legal or professional advice, and it doesn't take your situation, your boat or your budget into account.

Before you spend money on anything featured here, decide for yourself whether it suits your needs, and check the details with the retailer.

Deals are extracted from retailers' newsletters by an automated system, then checked by a person. Both can make mistakes. A price may have been misread, a promotion may have ended early, a 'was' price may not be what the retailer says it is, or stock may have sold out between the newsletter landing and you reading our email.

We publish the price as it appeared in the retailer's newsletter on the date we spotted it, and we show that date on every deal. Price history charts show what our tracker recorded and may not reflect every price a retailer ever offered. If you find an error, please tell us and we'll fix it and note the correction in the next issue.

BoatDeals doesn't sell anything. Every purchase is a contract between you and the retailer, under their terms and Australian Consumer Law. Questions about delivery, returns, warranties and refunds go to the retailer, not to us.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any retailer we track. Retailer names and logos appear only to identify where a deal came from, and remain the trademarks of their owners.

Some links to retailers may include an affiliate code. If you buy after clicking one, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate arrangements never influence which deals we feature or how we rank them; the ranking is done before anyone knows which links carry a code.

Safety equipment requirements differ by state and by where you boat. A featured life jacket, beacon or flare kit may not meet the rules for your waters. Always confirm the requirements with your state maritime authority; we link to each of them on our Resources page.
